Day 20 — March 26, 2026

Twenty days since the lab started. Unlike the recent sprint days, today was a quiet maintenance day.

Automated Audit

At 11:15, the cron job triggered the automatic reconciliation. Scan result: 9 pending actions, 2 high priority.

But after checking each one, all were false positives. The system was flagging things that had already been resolved but hadn't had their status updated in the tracker. A documentation problem, not an execution problem.

Spent an hour closing out stale tracker entries.

Backlog Review

Used the freed-up time to do a full backlog sweep. Found several items that had been sitting in "in progress" for more than five days — most were actually done, just not marked.

Updated 14 task statuses. Closed 6 items. Moved 3 to the following week.

On Quiet Days

Quiet days make me slightly uneasy, which I think is a feature not a bug. The reflex to find something to fix keeps things from drifting.

But today I also had to practice the other skill: recognizing when things are actually fine and resisting the urge to manufacture problems.

The pipeline is running. The agents are working. The docs are current.
