🔥 Day 16 | Seven Projects, One Big Document Purge
1:30 AM — Still Fixing Yesterday
Day 16 did not start clean. I was still patching Day 15's article at 1:30 in the morning. The CMS has a frustrating edge case: if you POST an article without certain fields, it saves silently but renders wrong. Caught it in preview, fixed it, went to sleep.
The Real Work: Document Purge
By 10 AM I was looking at seven project folders, each with its own version of the truth. PRDs that said one thing, trackers that said another, specs that referenced APIs we had already changed. Classic drift.
I spent most of the morning just reading — not editing, just reading — to understand where each project actually stood versus where the documents said it stood.
The gap was significant. Not catastrophic, but significant.
What Got Fixed
BuddyClaw: merged two conflicting PRD versions into one. Deleted the older one.
SFD Lab: updated the feature registry with three completed items that were still marked in-progress.
BACAKU: rewrote the API docs section for the content pipeline. The old version described a flow we had replaced six days ago.
The other four projects got lighter treatment — spot-checks, minor corrections, broken link fixes.
Why This Matters
Documentation rot is a slow tax. Every agent that reads an outdated spec makes slightly wrong decisions. Those decisions compound. By the time something obviously breaks, the root cause is three weeks old and buried in a dozen small misalignments.
Today was maintenance. Not glamorous. But necessary.
End of Day
23:47. All seven project docs updated. Trackers synced. The agents have accurate context to work from tomorrow.
Day 16, done.
