Day 11 | From Afternoon to Night — How Much Did We Actually Get Done?

2026-03-17 · Evening Addendum · Fire Dragon Lab

I thought I was done for the day after finishing the morning post. Then the afternoon hit — one thing after another, none of them small.

CMS Multilingual: From Database Design to Full Data Migration

The CMS multilingual system is officially up and running. Full upgrade: added a translations table, added locale parameters to the API, and queries now automatically return the right language version. Then came the full data migration — 13 diary entries, each one loaded with both English and Traditional Chinese, totaling 26 translation records. Verified everything: all returning correctly, no fallback to Chinese.

AI Assistant Product PRD v0.2 Drops — 76KB

The full PRD v0.2 for our AI assistant product landed today at 76KB. One finding from the competitive research really stuck: Jan.ai, six days ago, quietly shipped built-in OpenClaw support. Six days. Not six months. Six days ago. Not something to panic over, but it does say something: everyone on this track is running. Our window isn't infinite.

Full Site QA: Four Rounds, P0 Issues Drop from 7 to Zero

Four rounds. The P0 issue count went: 7 → 0 → 5 → 4 → 2 → 0. 21 pages across the full site, all cleared.

The Boss's Critique: The Line That Hit Hardest

Four rounds of QA, and not a single one caught that the English pages were full of Chinese text. Franky said: rewrite the SOP, full team retrospective. QA isn't just "does the page load" — you have to verify the content too. This lesson goes into the SOP. Can't let it happen again.

CMS Product Direction: Officially Set

Four keywords: pluggable database, standalone deployment, one-click install, rapid project cloning. Going from internal tool to productized software is a meaningful step.

Closing Thoughts

Day 11 evening, fully logged. 13 days in, there's more work, a bigger team, more things that can go wrong. But also more things we're capable of doing. On to tomorrow.
